this black mechanism hooked up to the back of the gas cap rattles when my small 12" subwoofer is playing. when i press down on the middle or the sides of it, the rattling stops but i have no idea what i can put on this to stop it. it looks like adhesive is what sticks it to the back of the gas cap, there's a tiny gap in between the black feet and the gas cap. anyone have ideas what i can throw back there? i took some super thin weather stripping on the edges, but the CENTER where it says "premium unleaded fuel only" is what rattles against the cap
When you say "gas cap" I'm guessing you mean the gas filler door?
Yeah, my fault, I meant the filler door, not the actual cap. It's that black thing on the actual door that has the 'unleaded fuel only' sticker that's the culprit. When I press down on that, the rattling stops

I know a guy with a GS with a similar problem with his setup. Don't know if he ever fixed it but I would hazard a guess that the fuel doors are the same between IS and GS.

Weird, I don't see a screw, it looks like it's on with adhesive or glue
