Default Lexus IS200T Jerking When Accelarating

Anyone else facing similar issue when accelerating ?

Issue comes up upon the car's first start. Car would jerk back and forth upon acceleration from a stop sign or light. I tried recording the issue and the boost and rpm gauges can be seen fluctuating when the car jerks. Any help is appreciated. Thanks !

It's pretty common, check out the TSB posted on this thread:

Update: I dropped the vehicle at my local Lexus dealership last Saturday. It took a few days for the tech to diagnose the issue as the problem could not be replicated. I was very thorough as to daily driving routine and the dealership was able to replicate the issue on a cold start Tuesday morning. I got a call back from the service advisor today informing me that it was a "transmission solenoid" that is responsible with gear shifting. Good thing is that my transmission is still covered under the power train warranty and the whole transmission will be getting replaced in the upcoming period.

that's nuts. the first lexus i owned and also my first car, a 2008 IS250, had a transmission solenoid fail. it was fixed under warranty and only the solenoid was replaced, not the entire transmission.

Received my vehicle from the dealership today. Problem is now gone after transmission replacement. Local dealer even waived the diagnostic fee.
