Just an update car repair is 16k and labor is 10k. So it’s a total loss

That's too bad...but on the bright side you'll get a chunk of cash to buy a new (newer) car.
Honestly, if I had a vehicle that needed that extensive of a repair I'd prefer it to be a total loss...especially if it was accident related...which it isn't in this case.

it sucks but it doesn’t. I didn’t really drive it much under 5k miles a year. Once I get an offer from Geico I’ll decide if I get something now or wait. I still have my 2012 TSX.

your right cost vs value is too great to repair

Parts and labor are crazy numbers since it’s dealer price. For those little dealers that buy parts car’s it’s not that bad. Basically swapping all the electrical parts that nobody buys
