TOM'S Performer Brake Pads - Reviews?
Hey guys,
Have a 2021 IS300 F Sport and was looking at upgrading to a more aggressive brake pad. Have seen the TOM'S Performer pads mentioned a few times and thought I'd reach out to see if anyone has been using them? Looking for a compliant compound on the street with low noise that can be driven year round, but I do visit a local circuit once or twice a summer and want something with some more bite and increased temperature capacity. Will be upgrading brake fluid at the same time.
Also - how biased is the braking system on the 3G IS to the front? I'm in an AWD model and understand these systems are all about balance, however I'm seeing a ton of pad compounds for this car with only front axel part numbers. If it was a FWD car, I'd have no problem just rocking front pad upgrades and leaving the rear stock. Just not sure how these cars handle that scenario.
Thanks!
