Default Constant Wind Noise on Freeway

Hello All,

Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue before but on my IS 200T, there is a consistent high pitched wind noise whenever I am on the freeway. It's as if one of my windows is slightly cracked open. I figured its got to be a seal issue so I am curious if there are any common seals that tend to fail on this vehicle. Any other tips would be helpful!

You'd have to closely examine every seal and make sure your door doesn't need adjustment (check panel gaps w/ adjacent panels). If needed you can pull the door in.

If you don't know what to look for, it may be a challenge to help you. Just make sure you don't have crooked seals, missing seals, damaged seals etc. Check window tracks/channels as well for any pinches, debris or other stuff. Everything must be clean and immaculate.

Thanks for that. Going to to fully look over the car tomorrow and see. It does not really bother me because I usually have music blasting enough to drown own the noise but whenever I have passengers in the car and have the music down cause were all talking, it gets annoying lol.

You can also lube the seals where the windows seal up to at the top channels. Just put some grease or WD-40 on a cloth/towel and wipe on the edge of the windows. I would also look into getting those GS weather strips between the drivers and passenger doors.
