This is the 3rd or 4th thread this week with the same issue. It comes up relatively often for the 2014s. Solution is a new headhunit. Suggest buying used and the model # you want to find is in fine yellow print on the front of your headunit.
MAN, I have the exact same issue. Vol ****, buttons, don't work on my 2014 IS. I took it to the dealership and they quoted me $1750 for the radio unit itself, thats before tax and labor, so really like $2k...my fuse wasn't bad either...like it'll say Lexus Enform and keep cycling over and over. No sound, no bluetooth connection, nothing! And prior to that, my radio wasn't working. Just BT and AUX. It sucks!!! Yesterday it said it was rebooting then worked for like 5 mins, then got gas and it stopped working again UGH
Would getting the BeatSonic unit work if you guys are having this issue? I had mine replaced 2x under warranty luckily but you never know when it could go out again
I am wondering if using conventional oil vs synthetic can be a factor in the thumping idle noise? Lexus near me had free oil changes for HC workers so I took advantage of that 2x. Wondering if they used conventional instead.

The radio issue is a radio issue...no aftermarket device is going to help it...the issue is internal.

If you had the oil change done at the dealer and they used 0W20, then it's going to be synthetic oil. If they used something else then it's the wrong oil. Assuming they gave you a receipt it should indicate what parts they booked out...I.e. Oil and filter.
