Weird Idle Noise on my IS350
The injector ticking is normal as we all know, but if you listen to the first 5 seconds the idle (use headphones to listen) you can hear the tone of the injectors ticking change. Once its warmed up it goes away until I come to a stop an idle stop in D or once I parked my car in the driveway then RPM settles down, injectors become louder for 10-15 seconds, then go back to normal ticking.
In the video this is the car fully warmed up in my driveway and the injector ticking becomes louder then goes back to normal. Never had this happen before in the last 80k miles I have owned the car.
If I open the hood, the noise is coming from the right side on the engine.. just had my belt and waterpump done as well thinking it would resolve the issue but didn't.
Can't place my finger on what the noise is.

What was the HVAC controls set to when you took the video? Almost sounds like the AC loading and unloading the engine.
Given the time of year, more like the AC was not on, but it was set to Defrost or Foot/Defrost...which will run the AC to defrost.

Happens with heat on/off or even ventilation/fresh air with no AC
I the noise is becoming more frequent now...wondering if it is an idle pulley or something around the belt since the RPM tends to dip a tiny bit (could be overthinking it) then the tone changes

Here is the what it sounds under the hood. Mainly comes from the right side (not sure if it the high pressure fuel pump) but when i come to a stop you can hear the thumping idle for 15 seconds then it goes back to normal "ticking".
I had an oil change yesterday and it comes back. However with the A/C on or when the HVAC engages to defrost the front windshield I haven't noticed it.
