If that's the issue then it would just be a matter of modifying the composite piece and grabbing some new wheel bolts that accommodate the additional 10mm & 15mm spacers. ST seems to make custom length bolts as well in black which would be perfect.

Leaning in this direction. I like the stock 19" wheels, and I've since put a set of Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires on them but the offsets are far from aggressive. Certainly beats spending another $2K+ on wheels.
Yeah, the portion that centers the wheel is more than an inch long and the wheels I have taper down near the center cap (hopefully that makes sense). So you just need to trim enough of the hubcentric ring to reach just before that taper. It might be different for the other types of oem wheels.

The wheels I have:

And yeah, I also typically do prefer bolt-on spacers. The only problem is if you run 20mm or less, you can run into issues with the bolts (or studs in other cars) protruding past the spacer and hitting the back of the wheel. I just wasn't sure if the oem wheels had enough backspacing to make up for any protrusions past the spacer.

So I actually got the 10MM spacer a couple days ago and tried them on to no success. They perfectly cover the hub leaving nothing for the wheel to catch. I was able to overnight their "Mid" hubcentric ring (they have a low, mid, high. The 10mm comes with low), and hoped that would work but even with shaving it down a good bit, it was a no-go. So I'm thinking you either need to stick with 8mm-ish, which is pretty sketchy cause I still wouldn't think theres enough hub exposed or run a 12-15+ for the fronts.

I'm probably going to try ordering the 20mm to replace the rears and put the 15mm up front. We'll see how it goes

The 10mm ST did not fit?

The 10mm wont work safely. It complete covers the hub so your wheel has nothing to center itself on aside from the lug nuts

That's frustrating do you think this approach would work?

Planning to do 15mm in the rear and 10mm in the front as well.

She is going to stay on the BBS wheels for some time but just going to convert to a 12x1.5 stud for future wheels and also everything I read is that H&R spacers are drilled for the same.

Hopefully the conical to ball adapters would work with the OEM R14 seat 🤞
  • 78mm 14x1.5-12x1.5 stud conversion kit
  • 12x1.5 conical tuner lugs
  • Conical to ball seat adapters
  • H&R 15mm spacer - 5x114.3 60.1mm
  • H&R 10mm spacer - 5x114.3 60.1mm

Still searching.

I ordered Motorsport hardware 14x1.5 studs and lug nuts, along with 20mm and 12mm spacers. Planned to remove the lugs from the spacers and use studs/nuts. This part worked great.

The spacer wont slide all the way to the hub.

You can the the step inside the spacer here.

The 20mm fit in rear, but I think it’s too much for me…I think 12-15mm will be perfect.

The 12mm has the right 60.1 bore but doesn’t clear the whole length of the hub centric on the car….pic attached. Maybe same brand (ksp) in 15mm would clear or have the 12mm machined to clear.

So looking for different spacers/solutions.

In the rear I guess the hub doesn't stick so far out like the front? Or are they the same and the wider spacer simply has more room for the hub to slide in?

I'll let you know if H&R spacers are any different once they arrive.

@isedawishy I only tried on the rear, the 20mm just has more depth to the step. I’m going to study it more to see if I think a 15mm will have enough step, the do 15mm all around or 15/12mm.

I assume but don’t know if the front and rear hubs are the same, may compare this weekend to see if the 12’s will work on the front.

Also looking at using 15mm spacers with 66mm bore + adapter rings, maybe that would clear the hub.

Will update soon, the 15mm 66mm bore spacers, 66-60.1 adapter rings, and stud conversion kit are all here but I'm working this weekend. This should work, because the step down bore of the 66mm is even with the inner bore of 60.1 so they should clear the hubs perfectly.

H&R 10mm don't fit the front but the 15mm spacer fits both front and rear.

We may buy another set of 15mm and have a machine shop take 5mm off the back. I believe it'd then fit the hub lip.

Here's what the 10 looks like up front,

You guys are looking into the wrong spacers. You need to buy the ones that have the studs on them already. If you throw on a 10mm+ spacer, the OEM studs aren't long enough to mount the wheel.. that's where the spacer studs come into play.

We converted from lug bolts to these studs,

Those type would likely be the same issue with the hub not working with spacers anyways

Default Late to the post I guess

Hey guys, I might be a little late to this post but I wanted to add, I got H&R spacers from the Lexus GS350 20mm rear and 15mm along with 45mm ball seat bolts from H&R as well for all 4 corners. They’re hub centric and so far I’ve had no issues.

Nice! Looks great. Any rubbing or anything?

BTW - Do you happen to have part numbers?
