Default Wheel Advise for IS200t

I've been looking to upgrade my stock wheels on my IS200t. I am looking to upgrade to an 18" staggered setup and found a few rims that I like, but all of these have high price ranges. Any suggestions on rims that look similar to the multi-spoke concave rims pictured below, but at a price tag of around $900?

You could try looking at Niche or GTS wheels.
I'm assuming you meant $900 USD for a set of 4.

Hello, we actually talked on a different post about this. I looked into those two suggested brands and I like the Niche Essen M147 and the GTS G709 wheels. However, the M147 rims have a offset of +40 and as we previously discussed, this would lead to it being not flush with the fenders. As for the GTS, they offer a +35 offset, but I'm having a difficult time finding a vendor that sells them in the US. Any recommendations on either of these two problems? Thank you!

The M147 is a nice wheel, too bad all the 18's they offer are the same width, so a staggered setup is out.
With the +40 offset on a square setup, you could add a 15 or 20mm (front) and 15mm (rear) spacer to flush them out. The rim won't have much concave to it though.

I'm not sure where might sell GTS wheels in the US, but maybe you can email them and see if they have a US distributor, or can send them to you directly.

Have you seen the Fast Aristo in black? It's a 10 spoke rim, but the spokes are in pairs.

After looking through all the different setups on ClubLexus, and with wanting to avoiding using spacers, I've decided to go with the Niche Misano M117 in a 19" staggered setup. Could you please provide advise on width and offset. Looking at the link provided below, it looks like 19"x8.5" +33 for the front and 19"x9.5" +35 would fit. Also any recommendations on budget friendly tires to fit these wheels?

The front 19x8.5 +33 is a good fitment. It won't be flush, but it's not that far away...maybe 3-4mm.
The rear 19x9.5 +35 will definitely be flush. Their guaranteed fitment will be with a vehicle at stock height and i know some have had rubbing issues with 9.5 +35 in the rear when lowered and/or depending on tire size.

You'll likely want to go with 225/35/19 and 255/30/19 to avoid any issues.

Depending on what kind of tire you want (all season vs summer performance) you can look at Falken, Hankook, or Kumho.

I just talked to my dealership and I did not know that a staggered setup would mess with the warranty. Unfortunately, this is now what I want to happen at the time. So it seems like a square setup is my only option. I'm thinking about the square setup using the same rims. So the setup would be 19x8.5 +33 all around (correct?), wrapped in one of the tires below. I'm trying to avoid any rubbing issues. If this setup does not do that, I can look through a different vendor and try to find an offset that matches better. Thanks for all the help.

Tires:
Hankook Ventus Ventus V12 evo2 - 225/35ZR19XL 88y Tire
Pirelli PZero - 225/35R19/XL 88Y Tire
Nexen Tire NFERA SU1

Did the dealer give any reasoning behind that statement...I can smell the BS through my monitor if that's what they really said.
Using that rationale then changing from the stock wheels should void your warranty...staggered or square.
Hell, buying non OEM tires should void your warranty...cause now the tires aren't OEM sizing.
I suggest calling a second dealer or Lexus corporate and get a real answer if the question is of concern for you.
It annoys me when dealers flat out lie to customers.
If the dealer said that if a wheel bearing failed due to having different wheels, i could maybe see that, but how would you ever prove it. It's like having a wheel bearing fail because you hit a pothole...how do you prove the car hit a pothole?!
Their excuse can't be the drivetrain as the 200t is RWD and the tire sizes for the staggered rims still have a relative circumference to each other...meaning the front and rear tire diameters are almost the same.

If you want to have a square setup then you can use 19x8.5 +33 all around.
I would up the tire size to 235/35/19.

I called another dealership and they stated exactly what you have said. I'm guessing the first customer service representative must have misunderstood the question. So the staggered setup is a go. I have narrowed it down to 2 tires for that. Are both of these a good option, so that there is no rubbing?

Hankook Ventus Ventus V12 evo2 - 225/35ZR19XL 88y / Hankook Ventus Ventus V12 evo2 - 255/30ZR19XL 91y
Nexen Tire NFERA SU1 225/35ZR19 88y
/ Nexen Tire NFERA SU1 255/30ZR19XL 91y

*Please note that the 225/35ZR19 is not a XL, if that makes a difference

I would go with the Hankook.
