My IS 500 was in Uranus last Sunday. I was gentle when I left.

The location made me laugh and I had all kind of inappropriate replies to add but don't want to get put in banned camp (kick out or put in a time out) but do have to ask if the ice cream was actually made by a Ho? Pimpin' isn't easy (and maybe it's a slow season), so I guess that He put Her to work making ice cream!

It's a silly place so that's why I went to see Uranus!
When you walk in you get various workers saying "Welcome to Uranus!" Everyone is giggling at least a little bit. The one I went to is in Missouri but they also have one now in Indiana apparently.

Well, it's been a nice ~3 year run, but between the wheels being stolen, and now the whole car being stolen, within the last year, I'm thinking it's time to part ways with my IS. If anyone is looking for a slick top 21+, keep an eye on dealers in the DMV area, as I'll be trading it in soon. If you're hanging onto your IS, a word of caution - rear windows being broken and entered will not alert you on the Lexus app, and my car was stolen with keys nowhere nearby, which means CAN attack from the OBD port - if you can get a OBD port lock or a kill switch installed, I'd recommend it highly.

They absolutely are, and ballsy, too (mine was in broad daylight). No joke, from the security footage I saw, they were in the car and gone in under 20 minutes. I'm fairly confident the coding in these cars is still similar or the same as what it was in 2014, so that makes them an easy target, unfortunately. Be safe, y'all....I was fortunate enough to only see my car driving away, but I can't imagine it would've been a fun time if I ran into them at my car.

Thanks Tony, I appreciate it man. I thought about picking up another Lexus, but have been lured in by getting a stickshift again, and have a '24 GR Corolla Circuit on deck to pick up this week. Should be a very fun car, although I'm going to miss the "do everything" nature of the IS, as well as the fact that my car felt a little extra, being a special order. Change of pace, but I think one I will still have fun with.
