First thing in the morning after sunrise...



After the sun was setting and getting that last bit of light. This color just loves to play with the light.

 

Took them few weeks ago:

 

Some silly pictures I decided to take and defile / upgrade the scenery of the empty Tesla Supercharger lot near our hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico before heading home to Texas. The car had quite a few bugs splattered on it at that moment.

 

So it's been a year and a half with the 2023, and over the summer I took my first road trip in several years. I was on the fence with it, as the car is to be a preservation vehicle and I didn't want to put miles on it. But Yosemite and the high country were calling, and I babied it all the way. Had an amazing trip and did 600 miles and change. Averaged 32 mpg's overall, which was amazing considering 311 hp and it was 115 F to and from L.A. and Fresno and back. At least the Merced River was chilled. Here are a few pics when leaving the park. I had to park under pine trees while staying at the lodge, which was a stretch for me. But I did a full detail in the parking lot before leaving. Came out good with no aging. Some tourists from Japan stopped to take pics before I left. (lol). Here are mine...

 

Picking up the car after it's 20k service from Westside. The neighbor was pretty nice. Two V8's waiting for their owners.

 

Got to be the featured car at the ARUMedia booth at Spocom Dallas.. Here are some shots.. I can't wait for my wheels to get here... Hopefully in time for Tuned Originals Nov 24.. Already registered for WekFest Dec 8.. Hope to get accepted..

 

It's hard to beat a bagged Lexus lying in the weeds! Your IS looks Fantastic!

Making commuting fun. Well, as fun as it gets, anyway.

 

After bumper removal, 10 holes drilled and 6 notches Dremmeled out, I present the most subtle cosmetic mod ever!
I do really like it, but it was one of the most involved front lip installs I’ve ever done. Will tackle the TRD side skirts over Christmas when I have some time off.
