I agree, it can be seen as a stodgy color, but honestly, I like it that way on this car. I think the bright silver looks good with the darker wheels on the F Sport and the black accents.

Here's a closer shot - you really appreciate the metallic-ness of the paint up close.

I had a 2016 IS in Atomic Silver. I love that color as well, and originally was wanting another one. But I do love the way Iridium looks against the interior red and the black accents.

edit: Here's Atomic Silver again.

I go back and forth on the different silvers. Some days I’ll see an AS and be like, God that’s so pretty. Then I see Alex’s and my mind changes. Means you can’t go wrong with either! 😜

I did a lot of the work, a friend helped me with the down spring install and I went to WBInstallations for my lowglow kit install. I did the rest. I'm down for a meet up.

I’m sorry for bombarding you with the questions but all of stuff you mentioned I’m planning to add to my car
As with any suspension, it’s subjective, I’m not going to tell you RSR Downs are “perfect” because I don’t know how you like to drive your car, but I can tell you they are great for normal everyday driving and are the closest to a “stock Lexus feel” you will most likely get from a 3rd party spring. If you plan to race your car, spend the extra money and go coils because these aren’t stiff enough for optimum cornering. I got these because I plan to go bags anyway so wanted just get rid of the wheel gap and have the “look of lowered”, and not spend the money, but not sacrifice ride comfort. Install was done in about an hour in front of my house. Had a friend help.

as for the Remark Exhaust, I will brag. It sounds amazing. Head to my instagram profile (under my name) and I have a sound clip. One of my friends has the way more expensive Toms Exhaust and he even loves the sound of the Remark better. It’s not obnoxious, gets loud when you need it to and just accentuates the stock note.

Thanks… Cloudburst Grey totally changes based on how the sun hits it. It does have a blue undertone. That’s how it differs from Nebula Grey which was what grey they used in previous gens.

Appreciate the answer! About springs that is really what I’m looking for because I can’t stand the gap, you can fit a fist there lol. I don’t plan racing (at least for now, maybe in the future If aftermarket support for the engine part will allow to do more modifications) so they will be fine 👍🏻

Remark it is then, can’t complain for the price for sure

Default Rarely late, always lazy.

Happy Saturday, Folks! Here are some random photos since I've been lurking here since purchase.

Picked this up last May when I used to work for Lexus - just rolled over 5k miles and couldn't be happier with the decision to jump from the Audi/BMW world to Lexus.

Default Is 500

I'm still excited so I'll post here, too.
Here's my new IS 500! It's dirty, but still looks this good.

New wheels and tires, and a fresh wash! Ready for the RSR Downs next week and it should finish the build for now.
