Congrats on the purchase ! I love those wheels and the incognito paint. Makes it look like the IS500 a lot.
I go back and forth on the different silvers. Some days I’ll see an AS and be like, God that’s so pretty. Then I see Alex’s and my mind changes. Means you can’t go wrong with either! 😜
I had a tough time choosing a color. Went to dealership thinking I wanted Iridium but they all look great. Finally did an experiment where I walked up to each one they had pretending it was in a parking lot and mine, and the Cloudburst with red made me the happiest each time so went with that one.
Wife and I share our Cloudburst 2023 IS350f and white 2023 ES300h and it’s a great pair of cars, totally different in character. In traffic I prefer the ES, all other times the IS.

Yeah you like what you like! I honestly really love this car in silvers - either Atomic Silver or Iridium, but I chose Infrared because, well, I figure the color should match the speed. And honestly, I've owned 4 silver cars now, so I wanted something very not-silver.
Cloudburst and Infrared were my top two choices of color, but the Infrared one showed up first, so here we are. Honestly I could be happy with just about any color on this car - they all look pretty good one way or another.

Happy Wednesday Hump Day everybody! This post is dedicated to the @LexusUSA Design Teams.
Got on the elevator yesterday and made small talk with a new resident. We get off at the same parking level, wished him a great day, and he said the same…as we walked in the same direction. I unlocked my car and he said: “Oh wow, so you’re the one who drives this beautiful machine?! Every day I walk past it, I look at it. It’s seriously beautiful.”
Of course I beamed as he walked around the car a few times. I started it up and gave him permission to get in. Unfortunately he didn’t get the cold start goodness because I use the remote start so the car is sufficiently warmed up. Asked what he drove and he pointed to the vintage Corvette further down. The car is normally covered, so I didn’t pay attention to what it could be. He was on the way to his mechanic to get it ready for shipping. He and his wife apparently *summer* in Ireland and he takes his car with him.
Wait…what?! 😳😂
He is a member of a car club in Edinburgh, so the car must travel with him.
At any rate, I controlled my urge to lick his amazingly-hot car and instead marveled over the fact this guy (who drives one of the prettiest cars ever designed) felt the same about mine!
And honestly, I've owned 4 silver cars now, so I wanted something very not-silver.
