Default Oil leak after oil change?

Had my oil changed a few weeks ago, noticed some very tiny spots in the driveway. What could they have done wrong? I supplied OEM filter and gasket. My OCD is going off hard, anyone have any ideas how this is possible?

If there are tiny drops on the driveway then you should be able to see something under the car dripping.
It can only come from 2 places, the filter housing or the drain bolt. Since they are in distinct locations, it should be fairly easy to determine which it is.

Any idea where the spots are located in relation to the car?

trying to figure it out I’m going to put cardboard down and see. The filter housing, if it were leaking, wouldn’t the oil be landing on those plastic underbody covers and have trouble making it to the ground? I’m worried now maybe they cross threaded bolt or ****ed it up and now I need a new oil pan.
Any tips how I can figure out if it’s leaking from bolt or filter? Mechanic said bring it in first thing in the morning but I’m sooo pissed it’s driving me nuts.

If it is the filter then you are correct is would need to work its way around the plastic undercover that hides the filter housing.
If its the drain plug, them you should be able to look underneath and see it as the oil pan isn't covered by anything. You may need to lift the front though depending how low you are.

if it’s oil pan bolt it will be very obvious right? Once I lift it i will see oil coming from it?
If it’s the filter I’ll have to remove that plastic cover and visually inspect it?

My oil was changed 2 weeks ago...is it possible it’s just overspill from somewhere and once it rains it makes its way down? So weird driveway is immaculate just noticed a few small drops when it was raining.

In either case it will be obvious. If its the drain bolt you'll see it right away.
if its coming from around the plastic cover, you'll also see it right away, which would conclude its the filter.
Its possible they may have spilled oil too when filling the car back up.

Who made the change? Dealer or Indy?

My independent. I’ve been bringing him my cars for 10 years never 1 single problem. I’m going to lift up the front end soon and see if I can see anything. He said to bring it in first thing tomorrow but I still want to look.

I do recall that time they overfill the oil. Stuff happens.

I'd bet either spilt oil ran out with the rain, or filter not screwed on tightly enough. A drain bolt is hard to have just loose enough for a small leak...its either on or its dripping out quick.
