Default Oil problem

Hey my oil lights keep coming on and I just got the oil changed, I looked under the care and I can see some oil wetness, not much. Does anyone know how much it'll cost to get fixed?? It may be some gasket or something???

you looked under the where???? oil wetness after an oil change is normal IF the mechanic spilled some when removing the old filter or something. if it doesn't go away or gets bigger, or your oil level is dropping significantly, you might have a blown gasket, a crack somewhere, or maybe drain plug not tightened all the way even. i just replaced my valve cover gaskets i forget how much it was but it was a few hundred bucks and that alone takes a whole day.

well, oil isnt supposed to leak so...it can be dangerous if it does. the mech can't just band aid it up and set you free. yours is a 97...relatively new if u ask me. i dunno how many miles have have or how the car has been maintained but an oil leak is an oil leak. hey are you sure its the engine oil lampthat keeps coming on?? did u check your manual and see what the light means?? it's never happened on my lexus but on another car i had the oil lamp for the BRAKE OIL kept coming on because the brake cylinder couldn't keep proper pressure. or maybe the mechanic hasn't put enough oil during the last oil change?? up to 5 qts will fit.
