Default MWR Stage 1 Cams ?!

I just saw these MWR stage 1 cams. They have stage 2 and 3 as well. I searched the Forums but found nothing about these. I had no idea these even existed on our cars. Has any one even tried these on their car? Wonder how much HP these give. there is no Dyno chart on their website.

saw them years ago, the cost of the cams plus install is crazy so as far as I know nobody here has done them. Even on the 2is forum I never saw them, which is weird you’d think at least one guy would have tried. Gains just purely guessing maybe 20-25 hp?

Interesting find...I don't think I recall anyone mentioning these on the forum so far.
They seem to have cams for several Toyotas.

How much labour to you think they’d be to swap?

That's a good days worth of work.
The right way would be to pull off the valve covers and timing chain covers...to remove the chains in order to remove the cams.
Shortcut may be to leave the chain and cover in place and seperate the cam actuators from the cams and just sneak the cams out. It's possible, but you're still looking at a good 4-5 hours even with the shortcut.

Are you still considering RR tune? Did I hear right it’s a 25 HP gain on the 250’s?

Definitely considering it. It doesn't appear to have some of the anomalies that the 300 tune has with regard to redline shifts.
I heard back from them today and they offered a discount code for anyone looking to get the tune...as I had asked about a group buy for people in Ontario, Canada, some I'm assuming the code is in relation to those folks.
Feel free to PM me and I'll provide the code.

I don't have a 2GR-FSE car,but on my 2GR-FE Highlander the Alldata time to remove and install camshafts was close to 26 hours. Working with my mechanic to find a faster way or shortcut.

At my mechanics rate, it's about $1,950,but to be clear this is on the 2GR-FE engine which is transversely mounted. I don't know the labor time for the longitudinally mounted 2GR-FSE.

For the Highlander I would just drop the subframe with engine/tranny/suspension/brakes all attached...do the engine work, and then put it back up into the vehicle.
Doing the front cams wouldn't be bad, but the rear would be a struggle with the engine in the car.

Yup. It' s a significant amount of labor on the 2GR-FE. Hopefully it's easier on the IS350.
If I decide to install the camshafts, I'm also installing the 12:1 camshafts to make the labor time worth it.
