Question wiring powered sub into ML system
I'm new to doing anything car-audio related. I purchased a Rockford Fosgate powered 12 for my '18 IS with ML sound (thanks for the recommendation EvilJoker). I've seen plenty of threads on audio for the non-ML systems, and I found a wiring diagram for the ML. The powered sub accepts high or low level inputs and I'm not using an LOC, so I have to tap the speaker wire for a high. Do I tap the rear speakers from the harness coming out of the ML amp or the harness going in? From what I'm reading, it looks like it should be after, but this seems like an important distinction to make before wiring. Thanks for the help!
Thanks. Like I said, I found a diagram for the ML on here, but it's for the high levels coming out of the ML. amp. Do you (or anyone else?) have a diagram or know which pre-amp wires are for the sub? Is there even a dedicated pair for the ML sub pre-amp? I've been looking through tons of threads but haven't come across it yet.
I found this pinout online. Looks like maybe the ML amp is also a digital audio converter? Only digital/optical data going into the amp?
I wouldn't even need to know what kind of car, if you're going to have to go with an LOC, and the stock system is factory amped... You tap the wire harness preamp. Then you go and get yourself some KFC while you slap that **** 😅🤣🤬
