Hydrolocked Engine - Geico Comprehensive Insurance
it's parked in the garage now with the ilx next to it.
I only financed around 5.5k, so I'll have the car paid off relatively quickly -- in a few months or so. I just didn't want to take a whole lot out of my savings account because this coronavirus thing has me nervous about finances right now. The dealership was eeeeemmmpttyyyyy. They were so willing to sell me that extended VSA for practically nothing. Anyhow, here's a picture!

my last car's full front end was wrapped in XPEL Ultimate, so i have to look into that pretty soon, but nearly all businesses are shut down right now and i'm also working from home, so it can wait for the time being.
and damn, yeah, knowing someone at lexus of carlsbad would have been nice, but it's alright because seriously it was a ghost town in there. they extended the warranty from 2 to 6 years/unlimited miles for an additional 1k. that's unheard of. i've bought extended warranties on three previous lexus vehicles, two for me and one for my dad on his LS and they are never that cheap no matter how much bargaining you do. businesses are desperate for, well, business right now.
oh and yeah, i'm never driving in the rain ever again ahaha
But for me I would have to pay 2K-2.5K/year more if I replace the model 3 with any of my current cars (exclude the Supra). Currently I pay most for the Camry, IS then Sienna. Yes, I carry much higher liability than yours. Basically double what I'm playing for insurance right now and I have no accidents (of my fault) or ticket in the pass 15 years.
My co-worker replace the CT with model 3, paying 1.8K more for the same coverage.
A friend replaced the LS with the S100D, paying 6K more for the same coverage.
Well the cars they replace cost more, so the premium increase are justified but not that much.

i was considering waiting as i'm currently working from home and i knew that the coronavirus would deepen discounts as sales continue to plummet, but i thought it unwise to do so as falling ill isn't worth it.
Now if you need to go out and want to know if it will rain, just send me a message (LAUGHING)
And thanks! The medium to darker color tones really show the lines on this car well compared to, say, Ultra White, which is nice, but really they should have kept Starfire Pearl around. Anyhow, I agree that it's aged very well and that's one of the main reasons I went with the same car, albeit with the 2.0l turbo this time. I've never owned a turbocharged car, so I made sure to extend the bumper-to-bumper warranty coverage until 2026. I might have the car that long, I might not, but it's reassuring to know that if I do, it'll be covered under both insurance and by a Lexus Vehicle Service Agreement (extended warranty).
