If I remember correctly I had to make a payment in the app before being able to change these features, but the app showed me first what it can do in terms of settings on my car. So, programmed all the items I didn't have access to with regular dash settings and never looked back. (Changed the opening and closing of windows which was off, trunk button time enlarged to the biggest setting in seconds not to accidentally open it, and a few other I don't remember now).
Nevertheless, if you can go to the dealer or have someone with Techstream do it, would be even better; I just wanted a couple of settings to be changed and didn't want to go to the dealer just for that, had a feeling that I would have paid more than what was worth.

You can cancel the subscription immediately and never be charged a dime and still use the app and all it's features for the 7 day period.
