Click/tick from front of car
If I take off from a stop on second to third gear changes I can hear a single metallic sounding click tick from the front of the car.
if I am coasting at 20-22 mph then hit the gas pedal I can recreate the click, when the car chassis shifts a little front to back under load.
its a single click and then it’s gone.
no noise when going over bumps at all.
seems to be tied to suspension when car is under brief load or brakes.
i had akebono pads replaced 10 months ago and started noticing the tick around that time. Also had tires replaced around same time as well.
i can drive through my neighborhood at 20 mph and hit the gas and recreate the sound whenever I need to.
any suggestions?
