Default Unlock rear driver-side door when approaching?

Anyone know if this can be done? Sometimes I have a bunch of groceries or whatever that I want to put on the back seat area. When I approach the car the driver door unlocks automatically, but the rear door doesn’t. So I open the driver door and use the unlock button to unlock the doors.

is there a way to Auto Unlock just the two doors on the drivers side when approaching?

No, there isnt. The only two options are unlock just the drivers door, or unlock all doors.

^^^ Agreed. Having said that, it should accomplish what you are trying to do as that door will be unlocked...just so will all the other doors.

Do you mean the driver door unlocks when you touch the handle? Or is there a mode to get the driver's door to unlock when you approach?

You still have to touch the handle.

The only other way to unlock all four doors is with the key fob.

That's correct. Mine does that as well. The OP seemed to be talking about something that didn't involve touching the door handle.
He said he has packages and wants the two rear doors to unlock when approaching the car. I don't think you can do that
without using the key fob or touching one of the front door handles. Unless I misunderstood.

Gotcha. I don’t believe this feature that OP wants, just by approaching not touching handle, exists in any Lexus vehicles. I know latest BMW 3 series do it does both lock and unlock.

It was to unlock both drivers side doors. But it seems like it’s not a thing. Thanks everyone! Still getting used to my used IS, which has been giving me all sorts of issues lately. So I don’t know what’s wrong or what’s normal.
