is350 f sport question
Hi, I'm looking to buy a 2014 is350 f sport, so I had a mobile mechanic inspect one since I'm not close to the dealer and there were a few smallish things that I might want to fix.
The first thing is a pretty big dent in the grill. The dealer offered to ship me a new grill for free, they said they are pretty cheap on ebay or something. Is that easy to install myself or would I need to take it to the shop? The second is the USB ports in the center console apparently have coffee spilt onto them, so is that really going to cost ~$300 to replace?(according to lexus)
The last thing is the car has a small vibration at highway speeds, and the mechanic said one of the tires might be slightly warped.

If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.

1) get the dealer to replace (grill and coffee spilt usb) all that stuff before you buy the car
2) there's a difference between cheap ebay grill vs oem.. check for proper fitment / alignment of the grill if they go the ebay route
3) yea most likely tires
don't get why dealers expect people to pick up cars that aren't ready, it's their job to have all this stuff properly fixed.. do not settle, just walk away or haggle the price down.. gl

1. To replace the grill the front bumper has to be entirely removed
2. The USB port is about $130CAD...whatever that is in USD
3. A tire really can't be warped...a rim can be warped though. Maybe he meant the tire is out of round or has a belt shifted. Balancing all the wheels should reveal all as to what the issue is.
Not sure about the paint comment...granted the clear code looks odd from here, but that could be the photo quality or maybe a protective film on the bumper.

Is that the crash/impact bar behind the grille where the dent is? If so, that's a pretty deep dent in the steel bar, if I'm not seeing things wrong. I wouldn't touch this car, keep looking.
Also, lol at the eBay grille, what kind of dealer is this anyway?

It's a lexus dealer surprisingly, but I am going to keep looking.
