Display, audio, and usb not working in 2014 IS250
Although I believe that is the non Navi head unit.
Please help!! My display screen completely black, my usb and radio don’t work either. I read a few suggestions and tried them out; unplugging the battery and waiting and trying again . I also replaced the radio and the power outlet fuse but it’s still not working. Can anyone please help me ???? I’m not sure what to do and I’m trying to avoid going to Lexus to have them take a look.
Let's start with the basics...
1. What fuses did you replace exactly? And where were they located?
The Power Outlet fuse is only for the 12V power outlet, it's not for the USB ports or the AUX port...those ports are fused through the radio.
My initial thought is that you have a power source issue...like a blown fuse.
For anyone that experienced a black screen like you have, it was usually a radio head unit issue...however in their cases the radio still worked, just the display was blank or black.

Post is three years old from 2019 so likely already resolved.
It's not likely to be a recall. A recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle, equipment, car seat, or tire creates an unreasonable safety risk or fails to meet minimum safety standards. This is not a safety item, while there might be a technical service bulletin (TSB) issued not a recall.

it’s a ****ing recall. Me my little sister my good friend and his friend have the same yeah same model same car and we all have the same ****ing problem. My friend just bought his car not even 10 months ago after four months radio started coming on and off every 1015 minutes did it display navigation system screen comes on and off after 23 weeks completely black. He brought to the dealership they told him I don’t know what it is but I believe it’s the radio so they convinced him to spend money on the radio so he did he already change the fuse for the radio. And guess what brand new radio and a ****ing radio still don’t work . So they convinced him and I got upset of him for listening to them. They said to him well this car when it rains water gets into the amplifier easily he checked amplify looks good and everything but he was gullible naïve and he spent more money on an amplifier. guess what the radio still don’t work with a brand new amplifier brand new radio and the screen is still black on the navigation my sister‘s she’s been driving like this for a year the dealership said they don’t know what’s going on we did you are instruction take out the battery all that still the same **** it’s a recall
I had the same issue. Screen reboot, no radio and usb ports dead- but everything works fine when the screen stays on, back up camera still worked.. I’ve read it’s a common issue & first I checked fuses, disconnected the battery for 10 mins, once with the sd card in- once without.. didn’t get a black screen so that told me I didn’t have a dead head unit..
which lead me to the fix!! Look up your model under Lexus software updates and see if you have an update. Mine did, so I loaded it up and after many, many reboots I finally got it to stay on long enough to download the update… and bam, that fixed the issue. As of now it does not reboot. Will update after a few days if anything changes
update: still rebooting, have appointment w Lexus to diagnose.. will update eventually

i went through the same thing with my 2014 is 250. found a company on ebay OEMautoaudio that does repairs. i pulled the unit and sent it to them and it came back working perfect with a 1 year warranty. the cost was just under 900.00 bucks .
