Please help!! My display screen completely black, my usb and radio don’t work either. I read a few suggestions and tried them out; unplugging the battery and waiting and trying again . I also replaced the radio and the power outlet fuse but it’s still not working. Can anyone please help me ???? I’m not sure what to do and I’m trying to avoid going to Lexus to have them take a look.
Let's start with the basics...
1. What fuses did you replace exactly? And where were they located?
The Power Outlet fuse is only for the 12V power outlet, it's not for the USB ports or the AUX port...those ports are fused through the radio.
My initial thought is that you have a power source issue...like a blown fuse.
For anyone that experienced a black screen like you have, it was usually a radio head unit issue...however in their cases the radio still worked, just the display was blank or black.
Thanks for your response. I replaced the radio fuse under the drivers side and the power outlet fuse which you said was the wrong one (i didn’t know). The strange thing is this morning when i drove my car it wasn’t working, twenty minutes or so into my ride the screen appeared as starting up, radio was working, and usb. When turned my car off it and then started it back up, screen was black but then everything appeared 20 minutes or so later. I’m really not sure what’s going on. I was going to try Resetting the system again to see if it may helP.

I had a gentleman at the auto store to check for me after and he said none of my fuses on the drivers side were out
It is possible the fuse may be loose? Instead of blown.
You mentioned that after 20 minutes everything started to work fine...maybe the vibration of driving shook something back into place that wasn't making good contact.
Maybe try wiggling the fuse to see if that makes it start/stop working.
Does the car have any electrical accessories installed that may be tapped into a fuse under the drivers side?
Go under the drivers side and find the 3 fuses in the pic...remove each one, make sure they are ok, and reinstall them, paying attention to make sure they install firmly and are not loose even after being pushed in all the way.
Is it just the infotainment system (including audio and USB) not working? Your digital display on your dash and the rest of the car still functional?
Do you remember doing anything different or out of the ordinary before the infotainment/audio system went off - like glitches in the screen, slowness/lag, audio dropping, etc.? If the fuses check out OK and are not loose, I think it unfortunately points to the headunit itself probably malfunctioning.

The display on my dash is there, however the functions for audio and navigation are not.
When I reverse, my back up camera still works and displays on the Navi screen. No i didn’t do anything different; i literally went to work one morning and when i got in my car in the afternoon to drive home the screen was black, no audio, and the USB port wasn’t working. Thanks for your help

No luck, I dropped my car off at Lexus. I will let you know what they say the issue is. I wish they weren’t so expensive. I prefer them to do the work, it’s much more easier and convenient for me then going somewhere and getting cheated.
No surprise on the head unit cost...we've all heard they are around $2K.
The $75 shipping is odd...I've never had a dealer change me for shipping for their own parts.
Although they could build it into the part price, then no one would really know.
Use the part number (or faceplate ID number) for the radio and look to see if you can find one cheaper online...like eBay, etc.
That may give you a better gauge of if you want to drop $2500 on your 6 year old vehicle.

I'd hate to buy a used HU only for it to konk out again. But i do defintely sway towards used. Someone has to come up with a fix for these $2,000 head units. my guess is it's a 2 cent part konking out inside. coil, cap, power supply, etc. Same for the amp. which one went out?
