Jumping to the 60k service?

Jumping to the 60k service?
Im only at about 48,000 miles on my car, but theres a time limit on my complimentary dealership service. Depending how soon that would be, is it feasible to request a 60k service "early?" If I were to attempt it, I'd state that my vehicle meets the time requirement (usually 60,000 miles or xx months right?).
I mean.. its "free", so.. definitely would want to take advantage of it while I can. I use the term "free" loosely, as Im sure I paid for it as part of the purchase price, years ago...
