Beatsonic should have aftermarket solution soon, it supposedly works with Lexus ***** and touchpad. It’s made by Korean company called nvconnect.

Could a mod amend the title to:
"No Apple Carplay for current IS350" ?

 

From an engineering stand point, I see 0 reasons why they did not include it onto the IS. I’m assuming the unit would be more or less plug and play.

From a business standpoint, I could see it as allowing the other cars to seem more “premium” with extra features. I think this is still a disadvantage as other companies are making CarPlay standard.

 

Hearing from the great vine I heard Lexus will be releasing further information. The Apple CarPlay or android auto is all software based so I’m sure the IS will be included.

 

I will believe this when it happens. Until then, I don't see why Lexus would do it.
