Black out chrome window molding
The blade tip is so fine you'd just see a thin faint line. it wouldn't be enough to shred it. i hear you, you were careful. knifeless tape is always best though. expensive but worth it. especially if you wrap your mirrors on a Lexus, it's a must. because our mirrors require two piece wrap and no good way to do that without knifeless tape.
Could use some technique help with knifeless tape.
When used over the rubber molding, it is more like tearing rather than cutting through vinyl.
Not a clean line, more squiggly. Got into this for almost an hour and ripped it off to start over.
I realize the reason is because the vinyl was not adhered as well to the rubber as it is to a hard surface.
Any tips?
I wrapped my interior trim/console and spoiler. 98% flawless.
This is kind of a different beast to tackle it seems.
