I want to black out the chrome around the windows. Does any one know where I can get black chrome for the window moldings? How hard are the moldings to remove and install? I would prefer to use black chrome, but has anyone had luck with paint or using black-out tape on the moldings.

 

There are two members that have done it, both look good from pictures but I haven't seen them in person.

The first is JacobT, here's a link to a post about it. He used the film on the chrome.

I've been considering doing the side strip, but will probably leave the one around the windows.
