Default Small sidewall bubble

Georgia’s pot hole ridden streets finally got me. Got a small tire bubble roughly the size of a quarter on my front passenger side. Gut says to replace the front two tires.... don’t know if there’s a tire warranty but I actually think I may have one from when I got the car from the dealership.

Any suggestions while I look for that document?

Are you on summer tires or A/S?

Surprised my signature didnt show up. Im on Toyo Proxes 4 plus tires. All Seasons. Only 10k on the tires. They still look decent. I dont even notice the inner tire wear.... yet....

I gave it some thought, and I think I could possibly buy a used Toyo tire in the 225 size off ebay. I think I could prolly find a tire thats more or less the same tread depth.

Just wondering if shops still do tire shaving... That way, I'll shave both my front tires to even out the wear. Or is this insane? Trying to be clever :/

No problem going used if you want to wear both evenly. Just wouldn't be driving super fast on them.

Really though, get a front pair of firehawk indy 500s. Your car will open up and be a beast. at least up front.

as for your inner wear, it's probably just creeping up. take a penny and measure inner and outer. shouldn't be too far off eachother.

I actually did look into Firehawks yesterday. Im also considering something less practical like Federal RS-RR's hahaha. I've daily driven RS-R's before and I miss everything about it, except the tire noise. Hoping my car will be okay for about a week, cause I really cant devote all that time to it right now...

I'd way go name brand OEM-level/OEM-grade Firehawks rather than generic federal tires. Firehawks should be around the same price, if not cheaper.

This is coming from a 3x Michelin Pilot Super Sport owner! So I have no problem spending big money on tires. With the Firehawks though, especially with the way our tires wear, makes the Michelins pretty much pointless!

Very happy to hear that about the firehawks. Definitely one of the tires im considering. I'll measure the tread depth on all my tires as soon as I can. I'll most likely go the Toyo route, but if not, Firehawks are the most likely route I'll go!

I 2nd Firehawks for the budget friendly bang for buck tire. Every now and then, Firestone/wheel works runs promotions on them. I've had friends run the tires and it definitely gives the car more steering confidence. I personally run Hankook RS4s, , and I think i'd keep running them. I consider them great value considering how well they've gripped the road for me, and how they were within my price range.
