Check engine light
so your saying that your inefficient cams directly affect the amount of fueling being pumped into the engine that causes poor A/F mixtures which causes poor maps to be created and then cause your plugs and o2 to fouling?
Correct. Accelerated by after market parts and tunes with idling inline with heavy or duty (think taxi / cop car) maintenance schedule. Cams are inefficient at idle so they can be efficient under load at speed. VVT-I helps by giving us more aggressive lift and duration at high RPM’s. It doesn’t correct the issues of overfueling at idle.
Guys. I didn't realize you both had an endless supply of **** to keep this going. 😂
Since cleaning the MAF sensor (after speaking to the dealership) i have not thrown any codes.
Now let's grab a glass of egg nog and say cheers.

Please correct me. This is from building LS and LT motors for years. If Toyota is magically able to not have rich fuel and slapping a generic tune onto an ECU is more then more fuel and more timing I would love to see that. Also he can easily pull his dip stick, plugs, or O2 sensor and see if it is “fuely” smelling. I was unaware that cams magically are efficient from idle to redline and that ECU’s stopped dumping fuel to save the engine. But again, everyone can do what they want.
oh I am fine, just entertaining myself. No nog, I will take a whiskey and says cheers though.
