So recently I been getting a check engine light don’t know what’s causing it I have an ARK Catback exhaust and an AEM cold air intake have had the parts on their for almost a year and now all of sudden the check engine light is coming on anyone know what’s going on do I need a tune??
not really sure what that is lol where can I get that checked at?
Any auto parts store will scan the codes for free. Just get the codes then google the codes and you will find what they mean. I personally have a BlueDriver bluetooth OBDII scanner, but if you don’t have an OBDII then your only option is an auto parts store to scan them for you for free or buy your own.

okay sweet I’m gonna get that done hopefully I can figure out the problem cuz this damn check engine light is annoying 😂
What year is your IS? Weird that you’re getting a CEL. Are you having any actual noticeable issues or the light is lit up with no symptoms?
it’s a 2017 I had the exhaust and intake on their for almost a year never had an issue but all of a sudden the check engine light came on so been trying to figure out what’s going on got it checked at the shop that installed it said no leaks maybe just some water but still something is causing the check engine light to come on the told me not to worry
Code scanners are cheap enough now that I keep one in each car. I have several of these. It is nice to be able to pull codes right away to see if it is something that needs urgent attention. It is also nice to clear the code to see if it comes again or if it was a one time fluke or mis-fire, etc.....
