Talked with the wrap guy, going to go in and he's going to pull the panels off and double check everything. Better than paying lexus for the labor to do it. If the wrap shop cant fix it then i'll just go to lexus to get the issue resolved when i get the new card key. The wrap guy owns a 3IS and says his lock and unlock sensors work perfectly fine with vinyl over them. while i'm there i'm going to get some issues worked out of the wrap too.

Sounds like the handle is not plugged in.

Im hoping thats the case, as easy as it sounds to fix, but the courtesy and interior lights dont turn on when i approach the vehicle.

So I wrapped my handles and the lock and unlock features still work. The lock feature sometimes is a little bit harder to trigger but I just squeeze the top and bottom sensors to lock it. Without the wrap it’s a lot more sensitive but mine still work.

Well the transmitter is part of the handle too IIRC so if it's unpluged it will not detect the key.

there you go! I tried looking for information about the transmitter but google map is not as helpful with something like this..

That makes a lot more sense, I was gonna suggest rebooting the ECU if its the programming issue but that should be it

Just got back from the shop who wrapped the car. They popped the door panels off and found the sensor on both door handles to be unplugged! All problems solved! Thanks for all the help everyone!
