Default Automatic Door Lock function

So my automatic door lock (set to 60 seconds in vehicle setting) stopped working for some reason. I double checked the setting and it seems to be on the right place. it was working fine before...

Any suggestion? thanks

Just confirming, you are referring to the auto "lock" feature that activates when you unlock the doors via the remote and then do not open the doors, right?. The vehicle does not lock itself normally.

Huh, i thought it locks the door automatically if the car is not in use for set amount of time...

All of my other cars have these setting and i thought it was the same with this car. Thanks for your help

Nope, it ONLY locks itself if you "unlock" the car but don't physically open the doors after a certain amount of time.

I can only think of aftermarket alarm systems where it locks itself with a set amount of time... I hate those with a passion...

Have you tried changing it to a different amount of time and testing it out then?
If it doesn't lock at all regardless of the time set, check to see if any fuse went out.

yeah the car locks itself if i press unlock and wait for it.

On my other cars, there is setting where you can turn on or off auto lock regardless of pressing unlock.

It's not the best idea since it will clear all your settings, but you could try unplugging the battery from the car and waiting a while before plugging it back it. It resets your settings (it did for me when I had the battery disconnected for an hour).
