Default 2014-16 bumper conversion on 06

Gentleman , I have a 06 is350 that I am doing a 2014 f-sport conversion front bumper on. My body guy molded the 2 bumpers together and came to find that the 2014 is far to wide for my 06. Has anyone ran into this issue ? Here is a link to the bumper I bought. Thanks

Thanks for your response.I Already have $500 in this kit, so I am going to try and make it fit. I already have the 2 bumpers molded together . I am not sure how I can make it fit unless I cut some of the bumper out . I will take some pics tomm

I'm not a body man, but I would guess you would have to section the bumper if it's too wide...that's the only way to shrink it without it looking weird.
Probably the best place to section it would be in the middle of the spindle grill.

A buddy of mine who is a body man ( a really good body man) put an ES300 front bumper of his Sienna. Don't ask me why...maybe just because he could do it...hahaha!
So if he could make the hideous marriage of bumpers, you should be able to do it from a 2IS to 3IS.
Although, if there is a kit already, might as well bite the bullet and get the kit...I think it's coming down to a cost analysis at this point.

You might want to ask PAVGR and RobzKar from the 2IS section on how they got theirs to fit.

Found these pics of them here...

From past experience when you mold 2 bumpers together eventually the seam lines will show. If you use good epoxy I.t can last you 1 year.
