They should have changed more...this is going to look so dated in a few years, since it looks more like a refresh IMO and not an entirely new model.

0-60 in 5.6s for the 330i straight out of the box... impressive is an understatement.

That's what the current 330i runs 0-60...so not so impressive if those are the actual numbers given the decrease in weight and increase in torque.

How is that Impressive? A V6 Camry can do that much cheaper.

I agree, there is a lot of TLX in the back end.

But 386 hp in the 340i could help me forget it...

BMW underrates their 0-60 times.

As far as styling, conservative styling not only ages better, it helps resale value. A lot is riding on the 3 Series, so you better bet that a lot of research was conducted as far as what cards to play. This car is the segment creator. The reason any of us are typing in this thread.

With tuners on scene, you better bet that 386hp is going to be 450hp+ fairly soon. haha

Agreed! Not surprised at them increasing the HP on the 340i to beat/compete with the S4, C43.

Lexus needs to do something similar now

Not to mention the G70 3.3t, with 365 horsepower and only $44k starting. BMW couldn't sit by and let that exist in the same league as the less-powerful yet more expensive 340i of the current generation.

Apples to apples, mate. Very few TC 2.0 inline 4 can match that time out of the box, and official BMW numbers put it at 5.3s with launch control. So, it's faster than the previous gen. ever so slightly, with the reduced weight. So yeah, it's impressive to me. BMW has six cylinders engine too, but that of course is a completely different beast compared to a V6 camry.
