Default Frame damage?

What are the odds this Lexus has frame damage? The gentlemen told me he replace “Changed only body parts L quarter panel, trunk lid no suspension damage “

Its hard to say but why even bother looking at a car that has such extensive damage? Unless this is a steal and you know what you are getting into, I would just pass on it.

Nobody on here is going to be able to tell you accurately based on those pictures. It doesn't look like it would, but who knows...

Body damage? >> structural damage? If that is the case I'd have it written off.
Any car I had never had any damage more than simple dent PDR could fix, little paint scratch.

The car has been repaired already, and has a rebuilt title. I’m considering buying it. It’s listed for 16k with 26k on the engine, and repaired. I’m just concerned that it may have had some damage to the frame. These are photos pre fix

I don't know TX law for rebuilds, but it usually takes more than just a bumper and fender replacement to have a rebuilt title (starts with a salvage title).

Ditto! If OP wants to take a big chance or it'll be a bag of worms. Personally I'd pass on a car like that.

Same. It also looks like a 250 non F-Sport. Yikes.

The only chance you'd really be concerned about is resale. If you want a good deal on an IS and the car is relatively properly repaired, I wouldn't be too concerned. Is there "frame" damage? Of course there is. The boxed section of the longitudinal "rails" in the trunk will need to be pulled and a new trunk floor and rear section/bumper welded in and tied in w/ new rear panels. Post pics of the repair including the trunk. Just make sure everything looks good and everything is seam sealed and spot welds are clean.

I would never want a salvaged title car unless it had been my own car that I had repaired for sentimental reasons.
