Default Will they consider this salvage

It was sunday afternoon after work heading home. I was going straight on a green light when the other car on opposite side turned left in front of me. 11days before my wedding and it happended me!!!!!

It wasn't drivable so the police took my car to tow yard and called esurance on monday and said they haven't estimated my car yet but it wil be moved to copart department and they refused to take my car to my body shop since they dont know what the status of my claim. Is this considered total wreck or salvage????

Doesn't even look close. You'd have to have all kinds of frame bending and internal issues for that to happen. Looks like surface damage with maybe a bent wheel/axle.

It would be very hard for me to believe that the damage there is 75% or greater of the current value of your car. What suspension damage was done to the front passenger wheel/hub there?

This doesn't look like a candidate for salvaging!

Is that an 06 with how many miles are on the car? I think its going to get salvaged, with the added cost of the rims and tires

2006 is250 currently with 42000miles. Then I'm happy that she will be back all brand new again. I was afraid that its going to be salvage since they are taking it to copart. Still waiting for adjuster to asses the damage.

Bumper+Fender+ Grill+Hood (Hood is quite minor damaged so may be repairable) doesn't equal salvage, i think.

I don't work for a body's hop but I'd say $4500 to fix it. Doesn't look that bad.

not gonna be a salvage but it will really hurt your resale value...make sure they dont screw you on your GFX lip, they might be able to fix it but dont let them give you the other one. If they cant find it tell them to order it from Sewell...but I would do a Fsport front end conversion and 2012 head lights!

Definitely, they won't salvage it. Like others said, not enough damage on the car to exceed 75% of the value.

Glad you're ok and good luck with the wedding.

Seeing as how the front end is shot, I would do the 2012 Headlights + F=Sport front bumper. If funds are available, by the rear taillights to complete the look

I'm keeping it true to its model year. Still going to be 2006. I just don't know if rims and front lip is covered. Also. May be its good time to put vynil guard on my bumper
