They are the #1 offenders of trying to race in what is seriously just about bumper to bumper traffic.
Too often is ”that guy” one of those Dodge cars.

Funniest one to date was the Tesla (one of the really fast ones). Who spent a good mile or so trying to race me. Even pulled a rolling start on me to get the ”upper hand" on the launch. That car is incredibly more fast than the IS and apparently he was the only one who didn't know it. By no means was I even driving fast but it was pretty amusing.

People buy fast cars and have no idea what to do with them. At least he was enjoying his.

My brother-in-law just got a Tesla Model 3 with AWD. Felt like the Cali Adventure rollercoaster the way it takes off. No way I'd ever go up against one of them.

Of course not...they do 0-60 in less that 3 seconds.

I've also had porsche Carrera try to race me a couple times. IDK what people are thinking. Racing someone....who is not racing you...who has a car with does 0-60 in twice the time lol.

My IS still looks better

I drove my sister in law’s Tesla Model S. I can’t remember which trim it was, but that things torque is RIDICULOUS. It’s not just the torque it’s the fact that it’s instant. I was in love, but electric cars are still too inconvenient for my lifestyle, but look forward to the future. 👍🏽

Yup, just touch that accelerator and it's GONE, none of that revving-up torque curve stuff needed. As an early adopter, he's planning to get the charging station in for his underground parking, and got the 500km range model. They map out for you where all the charging stations are, so it seems like they've got it pretty decently figured out logistically. But as HOMER350 said, I'm perfectly happy with the (better) looks of my IS -- like hairless Uncle Leo, the Tesla looks like a seal, all smoothed out. Plus mine has some actual sound to go along with it other than just road noise.

I hear once you drive a Tesla, going back to a normal car feels like a dinosaur. Like those cartoons where you have to wind up to start running. whereas a tesla is like a sling shot.

i'd love one too but i feel i'd have range axiety. i feel a good combo would be a Tesla 3/S and a 2nd gen prius for long trips/emergencies.

It’s true, I don’t think I can ever forget that torque and instant acceleration. It’s amazing!

To bad the cars themselves have the build quality of a Yugo.
