That is NOT normal and you should definitely take it back to get it fixed properly. I had this happen on my G37S and it was a clogged sunroof drain tube, but it could be other things in your case.
Flash5, the drains are not blocked as far as I know. If they were I would expect water to enter the cabin and wet the interior. This is just water seeping around the weatherstrip where the glass panel mates with the roof cutout. Is this normal?

Oh yeah that’s normal. It’s almost impossible to have a completely water tight seal there so the little water that gets through is routed to the 4 corners of the sun roof where there are drain tubes that take the water down to the ground (usually exits by the tires).
I've got a question, specifically about sunroofs. I bought my 2014 CPO a month ago. When I bought it, I noticed some wind noise coming from the sunroof. During a heavy storm, I ran my hand along the perimeter of the sunroof from inside the car and felt some water seeping through the seal. I took it to the dealer and they ultimately ended up replacing the weatherstrip and adjusting the position of the sunroof so that it sits flush. This did resolve the wind noise. Yesterday however we had another strong rain and i ran my hand around the rim and once again felt water seeping through the weatherstrip into the drain tracks.
Is this normal? I have no had water enter the cabin so I don't believe the drains are blocked but I am curious if you all have noticed this before.
Thanks,
Mazen
This is normal. There is an expectation that under heavy rain or even touchless carwashes that some water will pass the seal. The drains are there for this very purpose.
Once the water isn't entering the cabin, you're good to go.
Could anyone give me some recommendation for adjusting the rubber hangers holding the exhaust for a bit more separation on the passenger side. I believe this is causing a bit of a rattle when hitting some bumps/flex.
Did anyone add a flange gasket to their aftermarket systems?
Plan is to ask a friend to adjust/hold the exhaust tips while i tightening to bolts on the flange.. hopefully that can solve the height and rubbing issue.

I had to have the hanger bent for my aftermarket exhaust.
Just a dumb question about wheels, will this fit the 2017 Lexus IS 350F AWD? I have no idea about the whole offset thing and still don't understand it.

The first one will definitely not fit.
The second might fit with the right size tires and depending if you lower the car or not.
I don't think anyone has put 11 inch wide rims on the rear yet, so it's going to be trial and error at this point.
My car is on stock suspension and will the second one hit on the fenders? If not this might be the one I buy for the car. Thanks.
As no one has tried 11's on the rear, as far as I know, it's hard to give a definitive answer.
For the front, 18x9.5, you'd need a 255/35/18 tire, and the rear 18x11 would need a 275/35/18 tire...this will keep the front to rear circumferences relatively the same.
If you keep the vehicle at stock height, you will probably be ok. If you do decide to lower it though, you might have an issue depending on how low you go.
I think it will work, but you won't know til you try.
For the front my only concern would be if the tire is going to touch the suspension, not the fender.
The rear would be the opposite, that it would touch the fender before the suspension.

Alright, thanks for the help, I will contact the seller to double check about the fitment.
Okay, I love my IS300, but it can feel sluggish in local/low speed driving compared to my old G37X. It is most noticeable going up hills on local streets.
I don't attribute this to the 300/350 difference, as the increase HP and torque are not supposed to kick in until above 4K RPM.
Is it the weight of the IS that makes it feel a bit sluggish?
i imagine the turbo would be nice for hilly streets providing full twist at 1,650 rpm vs the 3600-3800 ish of the V6.
Which one you got?
Sorry, I keep forgetting to specify since the name change in 2018. I have the 2017 IS300, which makes it the AWD V6.
I know the turbo is more peppy at the low end. Maybe that overcomes the weight? I would still take the NA V6.
I guess I was asking why the IS is pokey in local driving.......is it mainly the weight? Maybe no simple answer.
Heavy and lack of turbo, for your particular hilly stop and go driving. the 4 and 6 turbos in all modern cars in this class would help overcome that weight in local driving since torque can be helpful in those situations. plus having to turn an additional set of drive wheels doesn't help things either.
The pads are the same fitment. F Sport got the dusty pads, the non F sport got the other ones. From a fitment perspective, they both physically with fit the 200t, 300, and 350 front calipers.
F....
So a few weeks ago, I installed my front pads that were done with a set of fronts I got back in March along with new rear rotors, pads and shims for the rear.
When I opened the box, they were blue.
When I had the car jacked up and the wheels off and removed the old pads, they were the black high friction ones. They were not the original factory installed pads, as the mileage would be impossible to achieve and one of the cotter pins were bent, so I am sure they are not original.
I called the dealer I got the parts from and basically they claim that the blue ones are what they install. (can anyone who works at a Lexus dealer in Canada verify this please?) Even after I told him that the brake pads were replaced before at another dealer (I got records, car was only dealer serviced) and the pads were the high friction ones that I removed.
And they sold me a set of black high friction pads for the rear at the same time.
He tells me after getting off the phone for a minute or two that there is nothing he can do and that new pads I want will be $110 plus taxes, then after asking if he can do better hs says 10%.
Does this sound right?
I mean, I gave them my vin and registration, but I get the correct pads for the rear but incorrect ones for the front, but offered to sell me the "correct" F Sport high friction ones for my F sport model at full pop. Before I called, I figured they at least give them to me at cost which I deem fair, since it is their screwup. Yes, they are OEM low friction and dust compound, but I would rather not have mismatched pads on the car especially if the more aggressive ones are on the rear. I am thinking about emailing as high up as I can at the dealer and or contacting Lexus Canada regarding this since they gave me the wrong pads and bs and offered to sell me the right ones and nothing else. I would happily give them back the current pads after I waste my time swapping them out and bringing them back.
Thanks E46CT for your brake pad thread. I actually found it after I installed them unfortunately. Someone mentioned the low friction pads brake dust are more brown, I believe it is.... which is annoying, loll
