Will an axel back exhaust system from a 14+ IS250/350/RC200/350 work on a 2018 IS300 (turbo)?

How about axel back system from the RC-F be usable or is the stack different/ mount points?

I am pretty sure this is the case because one 18' IS 300 F Sport I looked at had A/S tires and had the high friction pads. Also, it wouldn't make sense for the F Sports to come stock with low friction pads since high friction pads should naturally come with 4 piston brake calipers on the lot/showroom at least in my mind.

So high friction pads does equate to higher-end brakes now? lol

I knew you were going to say that lol. I never said they weren’t high end, I simply stated ceramic brakes perform comparably on day to day normal driving basis. It wouldn’t make sense for a car manufacturer to put 4 piston calipers on their sport version of a car and then slap low friction pads on it d;

Default (2018 ML sound system)What do you guys have your Treble/Mid/Bass set to?

Just wondering if anyone has found a sweet spot with their sound system settings. Not too knowledgeable with audio so hoping someone with more knowledge could recommend what works for them. Thanks!

I think it should be two questions...will it bolt onto the 2018? and will it clear the diffuser?

The 2014-2017 axle back for 200t/250/300/350/RC200/300/350 (did I miss a number lol) will bolt onto the 2018.
However, based on the tip on the muffler vs the cutouts in the 2018 rear diffuser, that will determine if it "fits".
A dual tip probably might touch the diffuser...a single will likely clear the diffuser no problem.

Not sure about RC F, but if I had to guess, I'd say no.

From what I’ve seen and read, the quad tip axleback exhausts will clear the new diffuser and some manufacturers have already made the quad tip axleback exhaust specifically for the new diffuser as the dual tip would look really weird since the cutouts are so large. This picture is of the Apexi Quad tip specific for the new diffuser 2017+.

Comes down to what you like. A good baseline is set everything in the middle and adjust to taste.

Usually you want mids around the middle, bass a notch or two down. and treble a notch or two up.

This all changes with volume so make sure you use the volume you're most likely to listen to your music at.

Yes, the volume is very important. I find that setting that work better at low volume for me are more bass-heavy, but at higher volume I like more mid and treble. Just me though. I typically don't deviate more than 3 ticks from the middle in any case.

Yeah if you listen to your music at low volume and set your bass accordingly, it tends to sound muddy at higher volumes.

For mine, I have

Bass -3 (I have a sub so if I want bass, i just crank up the ****)
Mid 0
Treble +2 (I have "upgraded" dash speakers)

It sounds pretty decent. I do want to do audio upgrades one day (particularly speakers and amp) but ive yet to figure out how to do that. Not sure if anyones made progress on that yet. I installed an amp and 2 front speakers on my 2016 CT F Sport and the difference was night and day.

I think I have around 2 bass, 1 mid, 3 treble. I also set to -2 rear because I think ML sound is very off in balancing front and rear.

Any way to change the distance for the radar cruise control? I swear it's set to like 5 car lengths right now.

Also, given that E46CT pointed out suspension differences between the pre-facelift 3IS vs the facelift 3IS, will the lowering springs that are made for the pre-facelift 3IS, optimized for the older spring rates, still be ideal for the facelift?

Pressing the radar button changes the distances. I’m attaching a picture of the button. When you press it, it should toggle between 3-2-1 bars. 1 bar being the closest distance.

Question about rsr down vs super down. Do the springs come at fixed ride height or do I need to adjust to my need? Noob question since I've never modded my car before and want to start out with lowering spring and spacers for the look.
