my '14 250 F Sport did not have the radar pre-collision avoidance and radar cruise, but my '16 IS350 F Sport does have it. It has freaked out twice now while going around a curve with no obstruction in front of me. It did not apply brakes, but did sound the alarm and show me a flashing dash light. Is this normal? I think it may have picked up a guardrail on the left in one case and a median in the other. I was rounding a bend in both scenarios and was nowhere near in danger of hitting the left medians. I was wondering if it might be a battery issue because I get a long tone on occasion as well, which means 'key FOB detected in car,' when in fact the key FOB is in my pocket and out of the car. Maybe the two things are unrelated.

Hmm that’s never happened to me. The times it’s gone off for me has been me getting close to cars as I try to overtake them lol
It could be that your system needs recalibration by a Lexus mechanic/tech. That or maybe change the sensitivity like Jay89 said. I have mine to minimum sensitivity because I like to get close to people (; lol
Hey everyone my passenger side HID bulb just went out is it covered under the 4 year warranty?, also I have installed the ijdm foglights would that be an issue with the warranty claim?
With the introduction of the Torsen LSD being standard in 2018 Lexus IS 350 F Sports, or any F sport for that matter, is a direct swap possible for older years? 2014-2017?

Your HID's should outlast your comprehensive warranty, so typically they wouldn't be considered wear and tear. I'll venture to guess that your aftermarket fog lights had something to do with it and I'm sure the dealer will say the same.
Do you drive with your headlights on a lot even during the day?
Is there an aftermarket cover or something I can replace the OEM drive mode **** with? The previous owner used it a lot and mine look like garbage.
Does anyone know how much it would cost to replace at the dealership if there's no cover?

as far as I know, bulbs are not covered under warranty as they are considered wear items. No bulbs are generally. Not even LEDs I dont think.

Would also like to know. Is there a part number? What would it cost to install in a 2017?
Wonder why toyota would make you put it in neutral or have that feature? will have to try that out too. you'd think they would make it more intuitive by having you long-press the start button maybe. you'd think having it in neutral with the engine off would be a bit dangerous. set your parking brake if you try this!
You basically have to put it in neutral, hit the start button, then put it in park. The radio will stay on and you'll be in park. But yeah, I don't understand why they didn't just make the radio stay on until you open the door and turn off after 10 minutes or so if you don't open the door. This is how most cars are.
