Very nice set up, super clean and professional.
Was there Any reason why you went with that model?
Have you tried out or compared it to the the uniden R3 or the redline EX?

I liked the arrows and the auto filtering feature. The radar doesn't make a peep and when it does, I know it's for real. I hear the R3 has the best range though. Can't go wrong with any of the high end detectors.

I have the Escort Max 2 and it’s pretty good, but the range could be better. I definitely think if you’re looking for maximum heads up, get the Uniden R3 the range on that is ridiculous. I plan on buying it soon. The Escort Max 360 is decent too I hear, I find that Escort isn’t trying too hard to be as good as it could be for the price they set.

Any reasons you chose the Max 360 over Valentine One?

The Uniden R3 is the best radar detector out right now....it does not have arrows, but has the best range and has great filtering.

search for "Vortex radar" on google or youtube and you'll see him review them and provide testing.

The V1 is getting outdated and Escort products are not very good to be blunt.

if you want to do more research, check out www.rdforum.org.

Filtering is harder on V1.

If they updated the Valentine I think it would be a good choice but it’s so damn old. Escort I somewhat agree they aren’t too good, they add all these features and stuff, but the actual range and filtering isn’t good, I regret not getting the Uniden, but my Escort Max 2 does the job for now.

I agree, the uniden R3 is the best bang for your buck. Much cheaper than the competition by far, and has the furthest range among the competition.

Only problem is it can't track The LIDAR ( laser radar) which is the newest radar technology & most difficult to fight. LIDAR is commonly used by police in Canada and slowly being implemented throughout the US

LIDAR requires a laser jammer. Illegal in certain states and costs a bunch. Most places still uses Ka heavily so a radar detector is still useful.
