I can't see at night...
It's really hard to see anything in front of me driving at night, I have a '14 is350 fsport and the headlights are just not bright enough. Which fog kit is best? I don't really care about matching oem, I just want to be able to see the road ahead of me and have a toggle switch to turn it on and off.
I'm in Toronto, also would like a shop to install it. I'll probably just ask if Mecano autoworks (lexus master tech) can do it, unless anyone else has any recommendations?

the factory hid's aren't good enough for you? i think they work very well.
i've got LED fogs, they're not that bright. even with HID fogs, i doubt it'll be help.
do you wear glasses? i'd see an optician to ensure there's nothing going on with yours eyes. long story short, years ago, i thought i needed a new prescription, went to the optician, tried to read his chart, it all looked the same and blurry to me. he sent me off to a specialist and got me fixed up.

fogs are more for filling in your puddle spots.
hid/led are pretty bright already,
been driving all kinds of cars, no problems with seeing the road ahead, obviously when an incoming car is coming, your vision will be less on the road.
id suggest seeing a optician first if you are wearing glasses ect.

Hmm an eye check is overdue, I'll look into it. Although I'm not the only one, almost all of my friends who notice this type of stuff has made comments about it even the lady. I'll get a picture of it when it's dark today.
Silly question but have you tried turning switching it on manually?, maybe to auto headlight for some reason is not turning on automatically. If lots people complain then send everyone to optometrist
If you drive to Lexus maybe get them to turn on the lights on one of their 2014 IS models and can compare side by side.

Pretty sure with an F-sport you have the LED headlights. In that case this is some of the brightest configuration of headlights that exist on a 2014 model car.
Maybe you need to aim them up a bit higher?

To the OP.
Clean your headlamp. I understand where you're coming from and I've experienced what you're currently going through.
The 3IS headlamps tend to get dirty fairly quickly. Just gotta clean them off and you're good to go.
This. If you don't have the headlights set to "Auto" or "On" you might have it on the Daytime Running lights instead! My LEDs are super bright compared to my previous car (a 4runner with amber lights). I like being that guy on the road whose bright white headlights light up all the reflective green highway signs. So modern looking! lol
