Hello everyone, I drive a 3IS model 200t
recently got the toms power box and will like to clarify on the installation as I will receive it next week only. The 2 things that I will need to detach and plug into the toms power box, do they have the same adapter head or different ones?
afraid of plugging into the wrong port.
is the instruction manual clear enough

It connects to 2 boost sensors on the left side of the engine. If you trace the TOM's power box harness in the picture you will be able to locate them.

 

For these 2 cables. Let's say now cable A from toms box to cable A at the car. And B to B.
if I plug it wrongly for example cable A from toms box to cable B at the car, will it still click in? Or the both cables are of different size/shape

also can I check the picture is for LHD model?

 

What is Tom's power box?

 

It's to increase boost. It's pretty much an "official" Toyota/Lexus product. TOM's is an in-house tuner.

You are simply intercepting the signals from the boost sensors to the car’s ECU.

 

Item came. Installed with toms air intake filter.
any idea what is the improvement like for example 0-100km timing ?

 

I’ve never timed the 0-60mph with the TOMs ,but it increases the boost value especially in the low to mid range powerband which makes it a lot more fun to drive.
