Default What is that coolant pipe?

I just notice there is a pipe from the coolant connecting to nowhere. I never seen that before. Is that normal or it was connecting to something and now they are just falling apart???

That's normal, it doesn't connect to anything. It's supposed to go through that ring connected to the tank (right below the pipe in the pictures).

It's normal. It's an overflow tank. If the overflow tank gets full, it'll dump the excessive coolant through the hose.

Yes, it’s ok. It serves as a dual purpose. Overflow if the cooling system too full or supplies the cooling system if it is low.
