Default Traction control help! 2014 Lexus is250

whats up guys! I just got an alignment done on my Lexus is250 and when I pulled out to drive it the traction light is on and won't turn back off. I keep pressing the traction control button and still nothing. I was wondering if anybody knew how to turn it off or do I need to take it to my Lexus dealership? I called the people who did my alignment and they said that has nothing to do with the traction control and that it will turn off in a couple of days.

any other lights on besides the traction light? shouldn't be on unless you physically press the button. so either you have something wrong or they messed something up if its on as soon as you start your car,

Only the traction light is on. I called the people who did my alignment and they said to see if it will go away on its own in a day or two. If not to bring it back to them. The car still drives normal and everything it's only that light that is on. Do you think it has anything to do with the sensors?

I think that's the "slip indicator". If that is on, it's because your tires don't have adequate traction, according to the car's computer. Possible the alignment was no good?

lights not on due to the alignment, hes at 0 mph and the light is on... like i said something is up with your car. the light should not be on when you're not moving (cause there is no way you'd be breaking traction) but the fact that you just got work done to the vehicle that is very close to the wheel speed sensors that the trac. system runs off of is good enough reason for you to just go get it checked by your dealer or just go to autozone... even their little scanners should be able to read abs/vsc/trac codes.

also btw that light has nothing to do with the traction control button... that one you have is the traction loss indicator. the other light for when you turn traction control off isn't inside a yellow box like that one, it's just a little pic of a car with skid marks and the word off below

To be fair I can't see the yellow box at all. I just see a yellow blob.

Yeah I'd say something is up with the car considering the light is on while you are stopped. Probably nothing to do with the alignment.

It was about $280 to fix. The car also had a strut leak but thank god is was covered the warranty. Thanks for the help tho everybody.

Some wires from a curb shot?? Hmmmm..... uhm, I can only picture this if your hub, spindle, and wheel were left at the curb and the car somehow drove away! That could break wires!!

Care to share some details?
