I live in the Desert and have to park some of my cars outside my whole life. The best Sun Shade is Heat Shield as it's a custom fit for your Windshield, and it rolls up to be put out of the way super easy. I hated the big Cheap Circles that would fold down but then lose their shape, or rip w/ the sun beating them over a couple months, and not cover the whole windshield. Simply put after seeing my Sunshade My dad, Older Brother, Young Brother and Mom all have their own, and my 1st Lexus (IS350 Fsport 2014) still has her's (she's outside now lol since the 500 is in the garage) and the Sunshade still is holding up over 7 years later.

If you want a good Sunshade, that fills in the windshield, rolls up to be smaller and has quality and longevity behind it... I doubt there will be many that will beat this option.

Thank you for the recommendation. Do you recall the length of time between your order and receiving the sunshade?

From what I remember, they quoted less than 3 weeks, but I got mine less than a week later... but I'm not sure if I just got lucky or what

Appreciate the prompt response. The sunshade looks promising.

Maybe close to the topic or maybe not. Has anyone figured out an upgrade to the sun visor for the driver and passenger side? I am looking for one that slides or extends, where you can adjust the shade to cover your face from the sun when it hits you on that last 5 inches of the window/windshield. Wondering if any from other Toyota / Lexus models will fit, it will be good enough for me.

Same somewhat on-topic / off-topic question here -- has anyone found a custom fitted cling-type shade for the rear side windows? Not having much luck finding a sticky privacy style sunshade for the rear windows to keep my lil guy from getting grumpy on sunnier days in the car seat (mounting the car seat in the middle of the row doesn't really work all that well in these cars).

I found extenders, but they don't tuck in so when the visors are not in use they hit 😔

The heat shield people above say they sell visors for all 5 windows. I'd look into some window Tint too if possible.

I just tried those from Amazon, I didn't like them. I will keep looking.

I drove a 2016 base Rav4 over the weekend and it had a built-in extender on the sun visor, just shook my head.

Default Weathertech for IS 350 is a perfect fit

Purchased the Weathertech sun shield for the IS 350 year 2021. This product was a perfect fit for my IS 500 front windshield.
Thank you all for the recommendations/advice.

Default Windshield Sunshade for IS 500?

Has anybody bought a windshield sunshade for their car? I have a one size fits all one but it leaves a lot to be desired with empty spaces, etc. I don't care if it folds up or rolls up for storage but I am looking for something one piece to try.

Any suggestions from what you have tried? Links please if you have them.

I bought one spec'd for the car from Covercraft. It is one piece that folds up and has a pouch to keep it in. Fits perfect.
