I have the Covercraft, but it's not what I'd call an exact fit. If you have one edge all the way over, then the other edge has a gap. You might say that this is just so it's easier to install, but my old Covercraft for my TL wasn't that way.

Also, if you notice in the picture above, the hole for the rearview mirror is too big, and has a pretty big gap. This, again, might be for ease of installation, but I'd prefer it to be a little closer fit, like it was on my old TL.

For how much the darn thing costs, I expected a little better fit.

The gap at the top aids in installation. So you don't bump your mirror and have to play chess every time you want to rush into your office. plus my dash cam is up there so it's perfect. lots of other people have doo-dads or radar detectors installed too.

Yes, I use one. I retrieved it when I totaled my MB CLA back in October. Can't recall where I bought it. Big help, huh? I think most anyone
will fit the car.

I use them always in all the cars. I get the custom fitted one from the dealer, or autoanything.com. Wish they had a fan fold style with lexus logo, maybe somewhere. But the ones I've had for my last 3 cars are roll up and highly reflective chrome color. Doesn't look great but effective, use it everyday. Good protection for my black interior (althoug arguably not needed) and in theory helps keep the heat down a bit.

Worth it to get one custom fitted, like $30-$40.

Default Sunshade for IS500

I am in need of a front windshield sunshade given the Arizona climate. I had a Weathertech sunshade for my previous car and it was a perfect fit. Unfortunately, Weathertech does not manufacture a sunshade for the IS500 model. Would the IS350 be an appropriate fit?
Any other manufacturers make a well fitting sunshade for the IS500. I’ve researched the question online but have not found a confident answer or a manufacturer, other than Weathertech, which makes a product which is well liked.
Thank you.

I just got this one and love it. Took a couple weeks but works well and helps out a ton in DFW.

I’m inclined to purchase the WeatherTech sunshade since the product for the IS350 appears to fit the IS500 and my experience with this in my previous BMW.
I appreciate the timely and helpful responses.

I just use a 15 dollar one from amazon that folds up nice and small to fit in the seat pockets in the back..

I do the same. I don't like the big bulky ones that fold down. I like the one I can shove out of the way so no one see it.
