Default TPMS help: System won't reset/initialize

Hey guys, I had 3 wheels refinished by an independent wheel shop after the valet and wife had some curb mishaps. Upon picking up the car, the TPMS light was on solid but figured I'd give it a few days to relearn. After a week and no luck, I took the car back to the wheel shop and they tried lowering the pressure and resetting it, but that's all they knew and they didn't have an OBD tool. Same sensors are on the wheels and I don't believe they were removed from the wheels. I can tell because one has over spray on the valve stem.

Once I turn the Ignition to "On," the light blinks fast for 1 minute then goes solid. I've tried everything and can't get it to "blink slowly 3 times" and reset. I'll hold down the Set button as soon as the Ignition turns on, I've waited for it to go solid, tried it with and without the ebrake, tried it while running, nothing seems to matter.

I've lowered the psi in all 5 tires to 30
Lowered 4 tires to 30, kept spare at 60
Raised 4 tires to 36, tried spare at 36 and 60

2014 IS350 F Sport
Any help is appreciated!

you may have to register the sensors again... you will need a cheapo OBDII cable and TIS Techstream. If you are still under warranty just take it to the stealership. Otherwise if you are handy with a laptop re-add the tpms sensors yourself.

The car is still under warranty but I was hoping to avoid the dealership. Thanks!

Default Solution ...

Just go to any America's tire company they have the sensor tool that they can plug-in to your OBD11 sensor and reboot it for u they did it to mine when I got my wheels and it fixed it no problem

If you have the same sensors and it was working before, they may have broken a sensor... I will act this way if a sensor is missing.

I hate to say it, but I think Answer is correct...one of the sensors may have been damaged.

You will need to check and see if any codes are stored for the TPMS system. Ray20213's suggestion to take it to a shop with the tool is your best bet at this point.

I think you guys are right and they probably broke one. I'll stop by Discount Tire next week if possible. Thanks
