Car installed the latest update on Wednesday morning...Then another one on Wednesday night. Anyone else get 2?
Anyone notice any changes?

Also, for the GPS map cards...do they put out a new one every year?

I also got two updates. I thought maybe the first update didn't take. ?? I haven't noticed any changes.

it will pop up on the screen, you can't miss it.

 

The GPS update cards are typically once a year...to hopefully coincide with every new production year. Sometimes there are delays though.

 

Are the updates only for vehicles with navigation system? What about vehicles without navigation?

 

So how does it work? If I didn't get any updates (I do have nav) I am out of luck? It will happen later?

My second update popped up after I started the car in the garage.

 

When you turn on the car, you get a prompt saying there's an update. It asks if you want to download it now. Takes about 5 minutes to download. It then asks if you want to install it now. Takes a minute or 2 to install. That's it

 

I don't see any prompt. So I hit menu/general settings/software update. Then I clicked on 'software update' and saw a stack of numbers with my current versions and what's new. There was nothing under the 'New' so no system update is available hence the button 'Update' is grayed out (not clickable). My current software versions are as following:

Navigation: V15A8880
Operating System: 16.8700

How does it compare with yours??

 

This update doesn't have anything to do with Navigation version. I believe it is for Enform applications. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

 

I frankly doubt it. Enform is probably part of the operating system. I don't see any independent software just for Enform.
